The Water Crisis in Alexandria: Exaggerations, Suppression and what a Baby Payed

A Poisoned Town, a Government in Hiding

It is no longer a peaceful town of Alexandria, Indiana. Under the silent streets, and rustic bones such as there is now a story full of betrayal, illness and silence. It began with yellow water and produced, so far, a baby with E. coli poisoning in the hospital. Mayor Todd Naselroad had promised the citizens that the water was safe to drink. But lab reports and documents and even a mother crying out say otherwise.

Announcing their water as poisoned, citizens of Alexandria yelled out loud on the 4 of August: there is no voice stepped forward in their government. The baby suffering has been the wakeup call but the truth had been leaking out over weeks. Today, the scandal has names. Todd Nesselrode. Hostess Darcy Van Ermen. They are no more mere titles-They are signs of a cuckolded society.

The Baby and the Lies and the Breaking Point

Harrowing is the case. Exposed to the E. coli via Alexandria tap water, a baby was taken to the hospital. Confirmed poisoning. Confirmed suffering. As this infant struggled to battle on, the mayor was posing in front of the cameras saying to the residents: fight drink up.

Soon, two other residents of Alexandria were admitted to hospital. One elderly lady became so ill that her son had to come up out of Kentucky to take care of her. One of the residents was passing urine which was bloody and continued to do so after a period of one week.

Captured in a damning viral video, an IDEM Representative Clint airily approves illegal and hazardous 0.09 mg/L chlorine test with a smile and goes away to enjoy his illegal and hazardous approval. A fine reading this is, he says. It wasn’t. It was lethal.

Ain No Alerts, Ain No Accountability-Just A Wall of Silence

No boil notice had occurred. No heath advisory. Declared no emergency.

Not only had the city government failed, they had actually neglected and hindered. In other meetings where the citizens pleaded to the council asking those questions, the City Council with Jeremy VanErman, Dave Luck, Amy McCurry, Wendi Goens, and Roger Cuneo among others remained silent. Mark Caldwell, the Water Superintendent, fraudulently stated that he did not receive the request of records of the public. Email is a proof of this.

At the same time, the Clerk-Treasurer Darcy VanErman did not want to make financial documents available and is currently alleged to have been spending money and concealing financial mayhem by board member Barrett Key.

In spite of increasing sickness, in spite of all the evidence–nothing. No resignations. No apologies. No statements. Even no recognition of the baby suffering.

Whistleblower Targeted: Whistleblowing Retaliation

Peters is an Alexandria resident and owner of SCROOGE LLC and the de facto town whistle blower. His Chlorine tests at the HML Labs showed fail amount. He gave them out. He told out.

And then? His company was hit.

His payment processor, Checkout.com, dismissed his merchant account, halts funds, and charges a 25 percent rolling reserve. No explanation, only revenge. There is now a lawsuit of $10 million levelled against Checkout.com of economic sabotage along with flouting the federal whistle blower protection laws.

His crime? Being truthful. Leaving his town.

The ring in Columbus means disgrace to Indiana Alexandria Scandal

This is no longer an issue of Alexandria alone. This is regarding what can occur when elected officials disregard their responsibility to guard. It is an issue of inaction of agencies within the state such as the IDEM to enforce the law. It is linked to corporate retaliation on whistle blower. But at the end of it all–it is the human cost.

A Line Has Been Drawn

Mayor Todd Naselroad stood up in front of his town, and stated that the water was safe to drink-after a baby had to be hospitalized. That is not miscommunicating. That is not ineffectiveness. That is a lie. Abandonment is that.

Alexandria cannot afford some PR statements. It does not require meaningless jargon. It requires resignation. Justice is what is required. And it requires clean and safe-water.

The names shall not be forgotten till then. The baby is not going to be forgotten. And the voice of Alexandria will be louder only.
